Taeler Cyrus

Taeler Cyrus, from Los Angeles, CA, graduated with honors from The Ailey School/Fordham University, with a B.F.A. in Dance. While at The Ailey School, she participated in numerous training intensives including Laban School in London, Impulstanz in Vienna, Jacob’s Pillow, and the American Dance Festival. Professionally, Taeler has danced with Ailey II, River North Dance Chicago, The Metropolitan Opera, and apprenticed with Complexions Contemporary Ballet. She has also performed at numerous international festivals including The Holland Dance Festival, Portugal’s Cistermúsica Festival, Finland’s Kuopio Dance Festival, and Vaison Danses, in France.

Taeler’s commercial credits include dancing for Beyoncé, Kanye West, and Mariah Carey in addition to appearing in The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, Saturday Night Live, MTV’s Video Music Awards, and America’s Got Talent.

Taeler has called Broadway her home for the last several  years where she originated roles in  "After Midnight", "An American In Paris", and the latest revival of “Hello, Dolly!” She also had the honor of joining the company of '‘Wicked” on Broadway. Now, you can find Taeler performing in the revival of “Sweeney Todd'‘ on Broadway as an ensemble member and co-dance captain.

Other musical theater credits include Roger’s and Hammerstein’s “Cinderella” at Paper Mill Playhouse, “Oklahoma” at Sacramento Music Circus as Dream Laurey, and performing in New York City Center’s “Encores!” series in their productions of “Call Me Madam” and “High Button Shoes.”

Taeler has a passion for teaching people how to move their bodies, whether that be through dance, fitness, or individual artistic expression. She has a background in group fitness training where she specialized in teaching barre, originally through Flywheel Sports, and now on her own. She is also on faculty at the Neighborhood Playhouse where she teaches jazz dance to training actors in New York City.
